Hands-free jobsite intelligence for Dutch & EU construction

See the hazard before it happens.

ArendVision turns any compatible smart glasses your supervisors already wear into real-time, hands-free jobsite intelligence — catching hazards as they happen and tracking progress automatically, without a single new screen to manage.

Construction hasn't caught up to its own risk.

Site supervisors are still managing safety and progress the way they did twenty years ago — walking the site, writing notes, and reporting hours after the moment that mattered.

In the Netherlands, construction accounts for roughly a quarter of all serious workplace accidents while employing only around six percent of the national workforce. Falls from height remain the single largest cause. And the workers most exposed are often the ones least equipped to report a hazard in real time: temporary and migrant labor, who face disproportionate risk due to language barriers and short site tenures. Work-related injuries cost the Dutch economy an estimated €16.5 billion a year.

This isn't a paperwork problem. It's a visibility problem.

Hands-free. Real-time. Built for how a jobsite actually works.

ArendVision runs as software on AR and smart-glasses hardware your team can already choose or already owns — no proprietary devices, no manufacturing dependency. As a supervisor walks the site, on-device computer vision flags missing PPE, unsafe edges, and restricted-zone intrusions the instant they appear, with an immediate hands-free audio alert. A voice-driven copilot lets supervisors log progress or ask questions without pulling out a phone. Every detection syncs to a live dashboard, and open hazards are tracked through to resolution — not just flagged and forgotten.

Real-Time Hazard Detection

Construction-specific computer vision, not generic object recognition, flags PPE gaps and fall hazards the moment they occur.

Multilingual, Hands-Free Voice

Alerts and voice commands work in the worker's own language — built specifically for the Netherlands' multilingual, high-turnover jobsite workforce.

Compliance Built In, Not Bolted On

Designed from day one around the Arbowet, the EU AI Act's high-risk classification, and GDPR/AVG data minimization — not retrofitted after a deadline.

Built for Dutch and EU regulation from the ground up

  • No facial recognition
  • No emotion inference
  • On-device anonymization
  • Full audit logging
  • Human oversight on every alert

A real, growing category — with a gap nobody else is filling.

Wearable AI for field work and camera-based construction safety are both proven, funded categories. ArendVision sits in the specific gap between them: hands-free, real-time hazard detection and progress tracking, in one platform, built natively for the Dutch and EU regulatory environment and its multilingual workforce.

Product

One platform. Three things a supervisor never has to do again.

Look down. Walk back to the office to log progress. Find out about a hazard after the fact.

Real-Time Hazard Detection

On-device computer vision models are trained specifically on construction environments — not generic objects. As a supervisor moves through the site, the system continuously scans their field of view for missing PPE, unsafe trench and scaffold conditions, and restricted-zone intrusions across hazard categories including fall protection, electrical exposure, struck-by risk, and confined-space entry. The moment a hazard is identified, the supervisor receives an immediate, hands-free audio alert — not a report to review at the end of the day.

From Alert to Resolution

A flagged hazard is only useful if it gets fixed. Every alert creates a tracked item: assigned, actioned, and closed out, with a timestamped record of what was found and what was done about it. Nothing disappears into a photo roll or a forgotten notification.

Hands-Free Progress Tracking

As a supervisor walks the site, ArendVision automatically logs task progress, crew presence, and material staging against the project schedule — including direct integration with Primavera P6 — replacing manual walk-and-note tracking with a continuous, timestamped record.

Voice-Driven Jobsite Copilot

Ask a question in natural language — "how many open safety flags on level three today" — or log a delay on the east wall pour, entirely hands-free, in the language the supervisor actually speaks on site.

Live Cloud Dashboard

Every detection, log, and voice note syncs to a real-time web dashboard, giving project managers, safety directors, and site owners the same visibility as the person standing on site — without being there.

Hardware-Agnostic by Design

ArendVision is software only. It's built to run on commercially available AR and smart-glasses hardware, so your team can choose or already own the device — we don't manufacture, bundle, or lock you into proprietary hardware.

Safety & Compliance

Compliance isn't a feature we added. It's how the platform was designed.

Any AI system that monitors or evaluates worker performance and behaviour in the EU is classified as high-risk under the AI Act's Annex III, with obligations taking full effect from August 2026. Most jobsite AI tools will need to retrofit compliance under deadline pressure. ArendVision was built around these requirements from the first line of code.

The Arbowet

Dutch employers carry a non-delegable duty of care under the Arbeidsomstandighedenwet to proactively identify and mitigate hazards — not simply document them after an incident. ArendVision's real-time detection and immutable safety logs are built to support the Risk Inventory & Evaluation (RI&E) and Plan of Action (Plan van Aanpak) that Dutch law requires.

The EU AI Act

ArendVision includes the safeguards the AI Act requires for high-risk, employment-context systems: full audit logging of every AI-flagged decision, a human-oversight checkpoint on every safety-critical alert, and a strict scope boundary against biometric identification or emotion inference — the category the Act prohibits outright under Article 5.

GDPR / AVG

Sensitive visual data is anonymized on-device before it's stored or transmitted — faces and identifying details are processed locally, never uploaded as raw biometric data. No facial recognition. This is a data-minimization approach by design, not a policy promise layered on top of a system that could technically do more.

Works Council Rights (WOR)

Under Article 27 of the Dutch Works Councils Act, introducing any system that monitors worker presence, safety, or performance requires the works council's formal consent. ArendVision is built to make that conversation straightforward — no facial recognition, on-device anonymization, and full transparency into what is and isn't captured.

We'd rather a safety director's first question be answered on this page than in a meeting six months into a contract.

Solutions

Built around three people who need different things from the same data.

General Contractors

Running multiple concurrent sites with a stretched bench of supervisors means less time for manual safety walks and slower progress verification. ArendVision gives your supervisors back hours in their week and gives you an objective, continuous record of what's actually happening on site — without adding another app to your crew's day.

Safety & Compliance Officers

Aggregating safety logs across subcontractors who all use different tools is its own full-time job. ArendVision gives you a single, auditable compliance hub — real-time hazard alerts, immutable logs, and reports built to hand directly to an NLA inspector or a works council, not reconstructed after the fact.

Insurance Partners

Objective, continuous safety data — not lagging claims history — is the missing input for pricing construction risk accurately. We're building toward partnerships where verified ArendVision compliance data supports premium-reduction programs for policyholders. If you're an underwriter interested in an early conversation, we'd like to hear from you.

About

ArendVision exists to make every jobsite measurably safer — without adding another screen to manage.

We envision a construction industry where no worker is injured because a hazard went unseen, and no project falls behind because progress was tracked on paper.

Why we started here

The founding team previously built EcoManage, a platform for energy efficiency and compliance in Dutch property management. Repeated conversations with property administrators kept surfacing the same earlier-stage problem: by the time a building reaches handover, most of its safety and quality issues were already decided during construction — on sites still run on paper, memory, and manual walk-throughs. ArendVision is built to fix that upstream.
